What are the ski conditions like in the Early Season? What about the Spring?
As you know the weather is an impossible thing to predict.
Mountain Operations does everything possible to keep the mountain on schedule. On the other hand, Vail has been known to open early and welcome big Spring storms late! Spring Conditions:
As the temperatures in spring get warmer, variable conditions may exist. The snow is usually very soft and forgiving in the afternoon and some people consider this the best skiing of the year.
